George Foster’s builders yard at the rear of the High Street on the morning of 8th June 1928.
The
previous night, at 11pm, a fire had broken out in the two storey timber
building. The fire brigades from Broadway and Evesham were in attendance.
George Foster is seen second from the left in the group on the left of
the photo above.
