Bredon Tithe Barn (Sub Officer Roy Ingles)

On April 18th 1980 the 14th Century Tithe Barn at Bredon in Worcestershire was devastated by by fire.
Fire crews from all over the area fought the fire but were unable to save the building. The fire was believed to have been started by children with matches.

The fire brigade was detained at the incident for a number of days damping down. The Broadway crew spent the night of 18th there, and returned for a second time at 03.30 on 20th April.

The barn has since been restored by the National Trust.
